This work focuses on developing Arts Council England National Lottery Project Grant applications, supporting artists, creatives, and organisations in securing funding for projects across music, community, and literature.
I work closely with individuals and organisations to shape ideas into clear, compelling proposals that align with funding criteria and demonstrate strong creative and social impact.

Overview
I support the development of funding applications for projects typically ranging from £20,000–£30,000, with delivery timelines of 3–6 months.
Each application involves translating creative ideas into structured proposals, ensuring they meet Arts Council England’s requirements while clearly communicating the project’s purpose, audience, and impact. This work spans a range of disciplines, including music, community-based initiatives, and literature, requiring adaptability in tone, structure, and storytelling.
My Role
I work collaboratively with artists, creatives, and organisations to develop funding applications from initial idea through to submission, including:
Shaping and refining project concepts
Writing and structuring application responses
Aligning proposals with Arts Council criteria
Developing clear project timelines and delivery plans
Supporting budget planning and justification
Editing and refining content to ensure clarity and impact
Outcome
To date, this work has secured over £250,000 in funding for artists and organisations.
These funded projects have enabled the delivery of creative work across multiple disciplines, supporting both individual practitioners and wider communities.
This experience demonstrates my ability to combine strategic thinking with strong written communication to produce successful, high-impact funding applications.
